Most patients go home the same day as their surgery, usually within 4-6 hours of surgery.

Some patients may need to stay for 1 to 2 nights if they have certain medical/health related issues. 

Some people worry that if they go home to soon they will not be able to get around as well or require more assistance from their Care Partner.  Don't worry, your functional activity, including your ability to get up and walk will be the same regardless of when you go home.
